Barclays – Stop Funding Fossil Fuels

XR Oxford will be returning after several months to Barclays Bank in Cornmarket in the weeks leading up to the April Rebellion. Join us for this outreach action where we will call out Barclays, Europe's Number 1 fossil fuel funder for their continuing major role in exacerbating Climate change. At the same time we will be seeking to recruit new members for XR in the run up the London Rebellion. Please come with banners and placards and help us leaflet passers by and Barclays customers. We will also engage with and encourage Oxford residents to join XR and demand that Barclays stop funding fossil fuel exploration, extraction and consumption that contributes hugely to climate damaging CO2 emissions. New members especially welcome to this action.
