COP 27 Global Day of Action

Saturday 12th November is Global Day of Action for COP27. An action is planned in Oxford incorporating singing, which I hope you will join in with. We will join with the Samba Band to cover Oxford in music. Meet 12 noon in Cornmarket, near Barclays Bank. Bring your flags and badges. The Samba Band will start in order to attract people. Then we will sing. The chants will be simple and easy to learn if you would like to join in. There will be singers there to lead the singing. However, we also need people to hand out leaflets and to do outreach i.e. talk to people and, if they show enough interest, sign them up to our mailing list.

Please bring placards or banners with relevant slogans. Feel free to repurpose any COP26 placards. Other suggested slogans, Enough is Enough, Change is Now, It’s not too late to save our world.
