RWE Outreach – Didcot

On September 23 XR Rebels from around Oxfordshire and Berkshire will meet to reach out to members of the public in Didcot to raise awareness of the climate damaging activities of RWE the German energy giant that owns and operates Didcot B power station, and, perhaps more importantly, we will highlight that company’s extensive use of Greenwashing to conceal the true impact of its coalmining activities and fossil fuel based energy generation. Join us to talk with the public about RWE, the Climate and Ecological Emergency and what can be done to tackle this crisis – including, of course, joining XR! Bring flags, placards and banners and stay for as long as you are able. This action will take place in the centre of Didcot and is easily accessible by train and buses.
